Finished reading "The Joy Luck Club" and the College Essay guide! Now all I need d to do regarding english homework is to write a diary entry/ies as one of the characters in the novel, which is easy. I also started brainstorming for my college essay and the topic I chose was: living away from my parents with other relatives in Philippines and how that shaped me as a person and fantasizing what it's like to be in America (and when I finally arrived here, it was different)....I figured that topic shouldn't take much thinking because I still remember how I felt then. It is still fresh in my memory, rather than those topics that incorporate a quote or song lyric to one's life, something about challenges one has faced, and those about how one comes of age. So I shall work on those two creative pieces when I get into my writing mood later.

Now that english is 50% done, I can finally work on AP US. Since I woke up early today, I have a good amount of time to work on this if I seriously put distractions aside. My goal today is to read the textbook until the beginning of the American Revolution, to work on the 26 response questions in chronological order, to pay attention about the details I can put for the first essay, and to research a bit for the second essay. That leaves the weekend and Monday to write the first essay and to continue the research to write the second essay. I should be done HOPEFULLY by Monday morning so that in the afternoon and at night, I can just mentally and physically prepare for Tuesday, the first day of school.

I MUST AVOID DISTRACTON AT ALL COST. AND I NEED TO WAKE UP EARLY ONCE AGAIN!

That being said, I have all my basic supplies ready. I need the extra ones, but those can wait. About my first-day outfit? Still need to figure it out. But that shouldn't take too long.

Now is the time to ACT.

Yesterday: August 25...Happy Birthday to my LolaMommy <3.

Ohh man, this week is the last week of my vacation. Next week (exactly) school starts...Sept. 2! How dreadful is that. Anyway, I am almost done with reading "The Joy Luck Club" which is excellent so far. I am also almost done with reading the College Essay guide. I just need to do the little exercises and then I'll be inspired to write a college essay along with the novel response.

My other work involves AP US. That is a whole different thing. After (or while finishing) English homework, I must start to read 89 pages of the textbook to take in and to teach myself up to the French&Indian War while working on the response. If I can't seem to finish by myself with that first task, I'll ask a few of my friends who are also taking the course for help/guidance. Then I need to do a little bit of research and then finally two academic/analytical thesis essays regarding the material I just learnened from the knowledge acquisition. This must be done by Friday Night or Sunday Afternoon the latest.

I finally got my wite-out. Now all I need are a bunch of school supplies which I will list some other time. I also received the Brainwave Symphony Classical Mix mp3 from my father, which includes all 4 CDs: Beta, Alpha, Theta, & Delta. Four hours long. I can finally study in peace. I also created a last.fm account for other inspirational music (Charlie Sneller)! Imood&Twitter are also updated! I am also working on my VodPod list too. This, on the other hand, is straight from my cellphone. LJ is for prompts and stuff, while the hidden one is for housekeeping. I have yet to create a truly personal log & a portfolio...(pitas, tumblr, wordpress, blogger, virb, vox, multiply, blahblah). By the way, my computer is turned off because it is a distraction. My phone is my only portal to important websites such as this, email, google, etc etc. I also occasionally text to Enzo, my new textbuddy, but that's about it. Phonecalls are only limited to 30 minutes & AIM convos up to an hour.

Just finished watching the Olympics! Excellent games this Summer. Anyway I'm using my phone once more to type this entry. This weekend, I met a few of my relatives from Auntie Rose's side because there was a 'padasal' for the death anniversary of Lolo Basilio & Lola Mamang-Esperanza. We socialized a alot, but they got along with my brother better since they're around his age. But it's alright. I also have a new text buddy. :P

Now we're the last family left here in Auntie's house. I just finished talking to Uncle JR on the phone. Today I also went to B&N since it's closing and moving to Livingston Mall. So then almost evrything is 50% off. I finally bought a mini planner, AP US study kit, College Essay guide, book covers, and a notepad. I'm also halfway done reading "The Joy Luck Club" by Amy Tan.

Now I need just a Barron or Kaplan review book for SAT/AP US/and stuff. I also need to start doing AP US homework and go back to school shopping...school starts next week!

I still need a CD player and a white out.
