What is makeshift? Eh, it's similar to any other social networking program like MySpace minus some features plus other different ones. Enjoy yourself. What are some of the "other" features? For starters you have your own blog on the surface page. MySpace on the other hand takes a xanga-clone approach to the blogging issue and blog-only sites are less feature and network rich. You have a purchasable rank that allows you to upload things onto the system like pictures or files. Makeshift also has some capitalism capabilities, allowing you to own, buy, and sell items throughout the system (still being developed). Why did you make makeshift? I saw a few things that sucked out loud about myspace so I made my own social networking app. Why should I make the switch, or at least try makeshift out? Because there aren't any ads, the design is generally cleaner, you have more control on how your site looks, and, well... eff myspace. How many people make this site? One. How do I get shifts? Just participate in the site. If you end up trying to take advantage of the system, you'll just look like a douchebag. A lot of people don't realize that making decent blog posts will do you must better in means of comments, amongst other things. How do I delete my MSO? Short answer: Shut up. Long answer: The deleting process is actually a lot more complicated to do cleanly than you may think. Many things have to be accounted for such as pictures, comments, tags, picture comments, friend links, accurate friend counts of others, and items.
