It was alright.

Next is Tuesday's Mock Trial Courtroom Journalist Contest. Then other contests. Then Cypress. But no Fullerton Winter Invitational - I'll be on the plane to Taiwan by then.

Life is okay. I only have so many tests to bring up my GPA now. :|

I met two really nice people from Kennedy High School yesterday. One of them, I think his name is Minhdang Nguyen, had a fabulous OPP. Got third, but had his memorization been stronger, he could've snagged first.
And the other was my first-round LD opponent, David ... forgot his last name. We talked a lot before our second and third LD rounds; both rounds were running late so we were just talking and arguing on whether deontology was an actual principle. I think it is: it's essentially the contrast of consequentialism. But, David argues, is consequentialism an actual principle? Well, I think it is ... it's just not the foundation of society.

Grace got two Bys yesterday and Joanne got one. I wanted one! I met an Esperanza girl, too. And talked to my opponent from the Jack Howe Invitational, Stephanie Shin.

Yeah, aside from meeting cool people, the tournament yesterday was alright. I miss La Mirada where we actually get an indoor table and where the team is more closely-bound. Yesterday, we were all branched out into different tables; it didn't seem as homely as it should have been because we WERE the hosting school and at our own school campus.
